About Me

Nancy Rogic-Greufe
I was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa and grew up in the metro area. I was first exposed to the Elkhorn community when I attended church get-togethers in Skyline Ranches at the prime age of 12. I always thought "I want to live here some day!" Fast forward to college, I attended Iowa State University where I initiated into the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. After a year, I transferred and graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Educational excellence was always stressed in my family. For medical school and residency, I chose to stay in the area, and met and married my husband, Jim Greufe, in 1992. We are an ecumenical couple and are involved in and have raised our children in both First Covenant Church of Omaha and St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Elkhorn. After we started our family, we built a home in Elkhorn before our first child started school. We poured ourselves into the community and have been forever blessed by it. I witnessed what Elkhorn Public Schools was like over twenty years ago and have grown along with it into what it is today. I will continue to use my knowledge of the Elkhorn Public Schools to benefit all children in the school system.
